JMZYOsh..' , <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> '. 7tE•Of• A� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 522 20 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS TRAVEL AND <br /> OTHER EXPENSES TO ATTEND THE 2020 RURAL CHILD <br /> HUNGER SUMMIT TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT <br /> OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, Share Our Strength is donating funds to the County of Hawaii <br /> Department of Research and Development for travel and other expenses to attend <br /> the 2020 Rural Child Hunger Summit in Columbus, Ohio; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Department of Research and <br /> Development recommends approval of this donation by Share Our Strength; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides <br /> that the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; <br /> now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, , in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the <br /> County of Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
