NEWSR <br />RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW CLERK III POSITION <br />FOR THE HAWAVI COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN <br />RESOURCES <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 19-73, the FY 2019-20 Operating Budget <br />for the County of Hawaii includes an appropriation for salary and wages and <br />fringe benefits for one (1) new Clerk III position for the Department of Human <br />Resources; and <br />WHEREAS, the creation of this position is needed to support the <br />department's increase in workload; and <br />WHEREAS, the position indicated above is a Clerk III, SR -10 position; <br />WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter <br />states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions... for which <br />appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br />that one (1) Clerk III position be created in the Hawaii County Department of <br />Human Resources. <br />
