COUNTY OF HAWAIII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> qrE�-Wll-tt i <br /> OF <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 542 20 <br /> RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW TEMPORARY <br /> POSITIONS FOR THE HAWAII COUNTY OFFICE OF THE <br /> MAYOR <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii was awarded federal funding from <br /> the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program <br /> (CDBG-DR); and <br /> WHEREAS, the creation of one (1) new, temporary position is <br /> required to receive this funding; and <br /> WHEREAS, the position indicated above is an Internal Auditor <br /> (Temp) that will be funded through the CDBG-DR grant; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions...for which <br /> appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII that one (1) Internal Auditor (Temp) position be created in the <br /> Hawaii County Office of the Mayor. <br />
