J�.ty OR yt� i <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAIII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> �r�oF•K�:e� <br /> i <br /> RESOLUTION NO. aZ31 20 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT 3 <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE 2020 SUMMER FUN PROGRAM IN <br /> COUNCIL DISTRICT 1. <br /> i <br /> 3 <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation's 2020 Summer Fun Program <br /> provides arts-and-crafts activities, sports, and recreation for elementary students during the <br /> summer break; and <br /> WHEREAS, there are four locations for the Summer Fun Program in Council District 1, <br /> which include Papa`aloa Park, Pa`auilo Park, Honoka`a Park, and Frank M. Santos Park <br /> (Papa`ikou Park); and <br /> WHEREAS, funds are needed to assist low-income families in the Hamakua district to <br /> ensure an affordable opportunity for the children to participate in the 2020 Summer Fun <br /> Program; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting Contingency Relief <br /> funds to offset the out-of-pocket costs per child for registration fees, transportation, and/or other <br /> activities for its 2020 Summer Fun Program; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation for its 2020 Summer Fun Program in Council District 1. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
