These funds are to be used to respond to the <br /> growing effects of the COVID-19 health crisis. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this <br /> $1,543,033 CDBG COVID-19 grant. <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development(OHCD) requests that a breach be <br /> authorized to submit this bill after the April 2, 2020 submission deadline and that it be waived <br /> from the Finance Committee and placed on the on the April 22, 2020 Council agenda, and to <br /> waive Council's five-day hold-for-reconsideration in order to expedite this transaction.
