REQUEST: <br /> The Office of the Mayor would like to request a letter to be drafted by the Department of Finance to the <br /> Hawaii County Council to accept a donation from the Director General Michael Tseng of the Taipei Economic <br /> and Cultural Office in Honolulu (the de facto Consulate-General of Taiwan).. The donation is for 3,500 pieces <br /> of surgical masks (ASTM F2100 Level 1 Barrier) donated by the Taiwan Government and was received on <br /> June 3, 2020. According to their Division,Director James Huang, the cost for the masks were $0.15 each, <br /> thus the total value is $525. The Mayor's Office will send a letter of appreciation once accepted. <br /> B.
