�J��v o-f-pi.,,;:.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII ,.4Ak• *- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> _......_,, <br /> ...:_:•_.."„t)..... _: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 690 20 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF CLOTH FACE COVERINGS TO THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY <br /> WHEREAS, Vibrant Hawaii is donating 1,000 cloth face coverings to the County of <br /> Hawaii Civil Defense Agency; and <br /> WHEREAS, the face coverings, valued at $2,000, will be used in the fight against <br /> COVID-19; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Civil Defense Agency recommends the acceptance of this donation; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, , in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this <br /> resolution be sent to Vibrant Hawaii, 200 Kanoelehua Avenue, PMB 366, Hilo, Hawaii <br /> 96720, acknowledging this generous donation. <br />
