Provides access to culturally appropriate conflict resolution supports for `ohana and <br /> communities. <br /> 15. Supports locally grown and sourced fresh food systems, including key cultural crops <br /> associated with Hawai`i's multicultural communities. <br /> 16. Ensures quality universal education from preschool through higher education that <br /> nurtures confident, competent, and caring individuals who are connected to their <br /> communities and are inspired and enabled to contribute to Hawai`i's well-being. <br /> 17. Provides full support for renormalizing throughout the community the use of`olelo <br /> Hawai`i, one of two official state languages. <br /> 18. Establishes equitable access to technology and broadband connectivity for work, <br /> education, and communication. <br /> 19. Creates reasonably priced housing in safe neighborhoods. <br /> 20. Adopts reasonable Hawaii resident taxes on home properties and ancestral `ohana lands. <br /> 21. Adopts new policies and taxes (e.g., restrictions on non-resident purchases of real estate, <br /> significant capital gains taxes on short term gains from speculative real estate sales) that <br /> eliminate opportunities or incentives for investors to purchase property in Hawai`i and <br /> inflate real estate costs for others. <br /> 22. Ensures that natural environments and communities are free from the impacts of harmful <br /> industrial electromagnetic fields, effluents, odors, sounds, and other forms of pollution. <br /> We seek strong, compassionate, and educated leaders who: <br /> 1.
