Speakers from Kona Disabled American <br />No one was available to present <br />Veterans Chapter Seven <br />from the Kona Disabled <br />American Veterans group. <br />b. Pam Cabrera of Hawaii Disability Rights <br />Pam introduced herself to the <br />in attendance from Honolulu Office. <br />Committee and explained that <br />she is the peer advocate for the <br />Hawaii Disability Rights Center. <br />Their agency does protection and <br />advocacy for people with all <br />disabilities. She informed the <br />Committee that she works <br />closely with the schools, in <br />making sure the students with <br />disabilities get the proper <br />education. <br />She informed the Committee that <br />any complaints would need to <br />reported through the Oahu <br />office. <br />c. Sub Committee Reports <br />Committee member Susan <br />Shirachi provided handouts <br />relating to homelessness (See <br />attachments) <br />d.
