is the parent entity that owns the Licensee, is a publicly traded company that owns <br />numerous small craft breweries around the country. It's also forty percent owned by <br />Anheuser-Busch. It's a very well -capitalized and financed entity and they've decided to <br />build a larger brewery nearby and is in the process of wrapping that construction. They <br />will increase their manufacturing capacity considerably to meet the demand of the product <br />here in Hawaii. They want to continue the brew pub operation, and hence the request to <br />change the category. <br />Nahale-a: Thank you very much. Director, are there any protests to this application? <br />Takase: Madam Chairman, the Applicant mailed six out of six notices within 100 feet <br />and 223 out of 229 notices within 599 feet. There were no protests to this application. <br />Nahale-a: Thank you. Any public testimony for this? <br />There was no public testimony. <br />Nahale-a: Seeing none, Commissioners, discussion or questions? <br />There was no discussion or questions from the Commissioners. <br />onizuka: Move to close public hearing. <br />Hughes: Second. <br />Mr. onizuka moved to close the public hearing; seconded by <br />Mr. Hughes. <br />Nahale-a: It's been moved and seconded to close public hearing.
