The Elevation Wine Fund here in Hawaii is a wholesale distributor specializing in supplying good and rare wines to residents of a number of different resorts on the island of Hawaii. It's a division of The Elevation Wine Fund, LP which is a Limited Partnership that invests in rare wines and operates as a hedge fund out of California. Nahale-a: And you're Leon? Dreimann: Yes. Nahale-a: And your relationship to the business is? Dreimann: I am the Managing Partner. Nahale-a: Thank you very much, Leon. Any changes to the report? Dreimann: No. Nahale-a: You've already described your business for us. Director, are there any reports of protests? Takase: Madam Chairman, the Applicant mailed 16 out 16 notice within 100 feet and 46 out of 48 notices within 500 feet. There were no protests to this application. Nahale-a: Thank you. Greenwell: Are there any other similar businesses like yours on the other islands? Dreimann: No. Many on the outer islands actually contact me for finding things they can't find. Unfortunately at different hours of the night I get emails for something rare. Takase: For the Commission's use, Mr. Dreimann's is a specialized market. He deals with high-end wines and he will be coming forward for a change to a Wholesale General liquor license in the near future because he has been getting requests for high-end spirits as well.
