Saquing <br />Donna Mae Springer <br />RE: Transmitting CA -20, Draft 2; Proposed Amendment to Section 15-3 — Relating to <br />General Procedures and Protocols for the Charter Commission; Submitted by <br />Commissioner Adams <br />Please find attached CA -20, Draft 2. <br />CA -20 was amended to reinstate the phrase ", no more than a majority of whom shall <br />belong to the same political party," into the third sentence of the first paragraph of <br />Section 15-3; to ensure that the proposed amendments in CA -28 were not inadvertently <br />duplicated. <br />The Charter Commission suspended its rule requiring holdover of proposals that are <br />substantively amended to the next meeting of the Charter Commission, and subsequently <br />passed CA -20, Draft 2, on second and final reading. <br />Should you have any questions, please contact our Commission Analyst, Jon Henricks. <br />DSA/jdh <br />Hawai`i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />Comm.
