Kailua-Kona this year will again feature its signature Fourth of July <br />Parade and fabulous fireworks display. Come on down with the family to enjoy a great <br />holiday event. <br /> <br />This year’s theme is “The Pride of Hawai‘i with Liberty and Aloha for All”. <br /> <br />th <br />What: The 24 Annual Kailua-Kona Community Independence Day Parade <br />th <br />When: Thursday, July 4 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Parade Route: Procession from Kekuaokalani Gym, heading south on Kuakini <br />Highway to Palani Road where it will continue down Ali‘i Drive, ending at Walua Road. <br /> <br />PTA Commander LTC Loreto V. Borce, Jr. will serve as grand marshal. <br /> <br />Fireworks Display: <br /> <br />At 8:00 p.m., the skies over Kailua Bay will light up in a 10-minute “Fireworks <br />Extravaganza,” presented by Hawaiʻi Explosives and Pyrotechnics, Inc. <br /> <br />County of Hawai‘i is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br />
