The green waste site should reopen as regularly scheduled <br />nd <br />tomorrow (August 2), from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Until 4:15 p.m. this afternoon, the <br />public can take their green waste to the West Hawai`i Organics Facility (aka <br />Pu’uanahulu landfill in Waikoloa), which is open six days a week (closed on Sundays), <br />from 7:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. <br /> <br />The Pahoa Transfer Station Green Waste site also closed at 8:00 a.m. today. The <br />green waste site should reopen as regularly scheduled tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 <br />p.m. Until 4:00 p.m. today, the public can take their residential green waste to the <br />Keaau Transfer Station. <br /> <br />The Waiea Transfer Station closed at 8:00 a.m. today and will reopen as regularly <br />rd <br />scheduled on Saturday, August 3, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Until 6:00 p.m. today, <br />the public can take their household generated waste to the Keauhou Transfer Station, <br />which is open seven days a week, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. <br />Please visit our www.hawaiizerowaste.org website for future closure information and <br />locations, or call our Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division <br />Office, at 961-8270 during office hours (Monday -Friday, 7:45 a.m.to 4:30 p.m.). <br /> <br /> <br />County of Hawai‘i is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br /> <br />
