HENRICKS: And if you recall at our previous meeting we had asked the <br />Commission to remove language from a proposal that... about the Commissions <br />having political, you know, members of the same political party. <br />MS. RICE: Right. Right. <br />MR. HENRICKS: Because it was in two proposals. So it is kind of the opposite. <br />We wanted it in one so that the voters are voting distinctly on that and should that <br />pass, it will be removed. If it doesn't, then it stays in because that's not what the <br />voters approved. <br />MS. RICE: I got you. Okay. Yup. Thank you. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Thank you. Back to CA -22, Draft 2, any comments? Seeing <br />none, moving on to CA -23, Relating to Corporation Counsel, found at the top of <br />page 40. Seeing no comments, moving on to CA -24, Draft 2, Relating to the <br />Hawai`i Fire Department, found at the top of page 41. Seeing no comments, <br />moving to CA -25, Relating to the Planning Department, found at the top of page <br />44. Seeing no comments, moving on to CA -28, Relating to Membership on <br />Boards and Commissions, found at the top of page 47. Seeing no comments, <br />moving to CA -29, Draft 2. I just want to make sure I don't screw something up. <br />Oh, I did. I appreciate the time and <br />effort that you put in to create the synopsis and the description of each <br />amendment. It is... I am hoping that you could carry that forward when it comes <br />time for our voters to look at all of these amendments cause it really clarifies the <br />heart of the amendment that we are addressing.
