I...have been surprised at that number of people who have come forward to me to speak about the fact that they do not think you are helping the Public Open Space Commission going forward, that you have been in fact a hurdle to some of the things that should happen to make it operate better. And these are not necessarily people I talk to that would be in my camp. They are members of the public who see that, or feel that you are not acknowledging where they are coming from and in any case, I am just disappointed at what has come forward out of this Commission in relationship to the PONC, but this seems to go beyond that. And part of that is due to frankly, the fact that the statutes under which we operate are not necessarily clear, and because they provide some flexibility depending on the timeline that the Council operates in.
