D. Increased Height <br /> The height of the Convenience Store was adjusted to accommodate Safeway nationwide standards <br /> regarding joist depth and other design requirements. The height of the building was increased by two <br /> feet and five inches. <br /> E. Modifications to Roofs <br /> The pitch/slope of the roofs of both buildings is revised to accommodate under-roof equipment <br /> and access hatch. The modification allows the equipment and hatch to remain hidden from public view. <br /> As it currently stands, the equipment and hatch just barely fits under the roof. The original pitch/slope <br /> was roughly 5/12, and is not 6/12.
