Are those last ones you <br /> <br />4 <br />mentioned -- is their contract time up now? <br /> <br />5 <br />MR. BRILHANTE: They're the same as fire. The <br /> <br />6 <br />current contract for HGEA -- all of them will expire <br /> <br />7 <br />June 30th of this year. <br /> <br />8 <br />MR. HIGGINS: Yeah, fire. <br /> <br />9 <br />MR. BRILHANTE: Same as fire. <br /> <br />10 <br />You know, one thing I want to say about the <br /> <br />11 <br />arbitration, you know, awards is, you know, as the <br /> <br />12 <br />finance director alluded to, once the arbitrator makes <br /> <br />13 <br />a decision, that's a binding arbitration. We don't <br /> <br />14 <br />have much room to say, “Well, we're going to appeal <br /> <br />15 <br />this” or “We're going to take this up.” <br /> <br />16 <br />But, what's interesting is, under the HRS, all <br /> <br />17 <br />cost items included in an arbitrator's award related <br /> <br />18 <br />to collective bargaining needs to be approved by each <br /> <br />19 <br />employer group's respective legislative bodies. So, <br /> <br />20 <br />once the award is issued by the arbitrator, the <br /> <br />21 <br />decision -- we have ten days to get that item -- each <br /> <br />22 <br />of the jurisdictions in the State have ten days to get <br /> <br />23 <br />that item in front of their respective legislative <br /> <br />24 <br />bodies.
