subject; any person wishing to speak on more than one subject shall register separately for each <br />agenda item; those speaking shall direct their remarks to the Chairperson and not to any individual <br />Council Member or person in the audience; all members of the public shall extend proper courtesy <br />and respect to one another and to all Council Members, and all persons shall be addressed by their <br />surnames, no profanity or abusive remarks will be allowed at any time in any meeting; any person, <br />not a member of Council, who is disrespectful to the Council or any Committee by any disorderly or <br />contemptuous behavior in its presence or who disrupts the exercise of any legislator's function, <br />may be removed from the meeting at the discretion of the Chairperson; and person who does not <br />abide by these rules may be ruled out of order by the Chairperson. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The Action Committee meeting will adjourn at the time the Kona CDP agenda item is closed <br />by the County Council. <br />NOTE: Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable modification, or language <br />interpretation to access this meeting please contact the Planning Department at 961-8288 as soon <br />as possible, but no later than five working days prior to the meeting date, to arrange for <br />accommodations. "Other reasonable modification" refers to communication methods or devices for <br />people with disabilities who are mentally and/or physically challenged. <br />If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai'i County Clerk within five days of becoming a <br />lobbyist. (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawai'i County Code). A lobbyist means, "any individual <br />engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in <br />any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action <br />by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials." (Article 15, Section 2- <br />91.3(a)(6), Hawai'i County Code).
