Call To order <br />The meeting was called to order by Chair Shelby Nahale-a at 10:00 A.M., in the <br />Meeting Room, Department of Liquor control, Hilo Lagoon centre, Unit 230, <br />Hilo, Hawaii. <br />The following were present and constituted a quorum: <br />Commissioners: Shelby Nahale-a, chair <br />David Greenwell, Vice chair <br />Warren Arakaki, commissioner <br />Michael Hughes, Commissioner <br />Ronald I barra, Commissioner <br />Claude Onizuka, commissioner <br />Allen Salave`a, Commissioner <br />Paula Thomas, commissioner <br />Absent and Excused: Dawn Raymond, Commissioner <br />Others Present: Brandon Gonzalez, Administrative officer <br />Craig Masuda, Deputy corporation counsel <br />Stacie Waltjen, Licensing officer <br />Dorsi Lim, Secretary to the Board & Commission <br />Nahale-a: Good morning everyone. I'd like to call this meeting of the Hawaii county <br />Liquor commission to order. As a friendly reminder, please place your cell phones on <br />silent. We're recording the meeting, so please remember to speak one at a time so that <br />the recording can be clear and the microphones in the room don't necessarily amplify <br />your voice. They're only to record what's being said. <br />Nahale-a: Before introductions, I'd like to note that this agenda was amended on <br />June 27, 2019, to correct the day of the meeting from Thursday to Wednesday. Under <br />Special Licenses Issued for Ratification, correct Item f., Application No. 19-1 to Item g. <br />and Item g., Application No. 19-2 to Item h. could we introduce ourselves beginning <br />with Stacie? <br />Waltjen: Good morning, Stacie Waltjen, Licensing officer. <br />Gonzalez: Good morning, Brandon Gonzalez, Administrative officer. <br />
