MINUTES <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Rules and Regulations of the Director of Finance <br />Tuesday, October 1, 2019. <br />County of Hawai' i <br />Aupuni Center Conference Room <br />Hilo, Hawaii <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by Deputy Finance Director, Steven A. Hunt at 9:00 a.m. <br />ATTENDANCE <br />Steven A. Hunt, Deputy Finance Director <br />Naomi O'Dell, Vehicle Registration & Licensing Administrator <br />J Yoshimoto, Deputy Corporation Counsel <br />Danny Patel, Deputy Corporation Counsel <br />Crystallene Pacheco, Private Secretary, Finance Department <br />OPENING STATEMENTS <br />Those present at the meeting were introduced by Mr. Hunt. He also stated the purpose of the hearing, <br />publication dates for notice of hearing and explained that there is no impact to small businesses. <br />Mr. Hunt read a summary of the major changes in Rules 11, 12, 13, 14, 18 and 19 (on agenda). <br />PUBLIC STATEMENTS <br />One member from the public, Miss Mahi commented on Rule 11.2(0 (not on agenda). <br />CONCLUSION <br />Mr. Hunt accepted the changes made to Rules 11, 12, 13, 14, 18 and 19 and announced that copies will be <br />sent to the Mayor for consideration before forwarding to the Lieutenant Governor's office. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mr. Hunt adjourned the hearing at 9:29 a.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Crystallene Pacheco <br />
