Hawaii Police Commission <br />Meeting Agenda <br />October 18, 2019 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />• Program of Work for the Police Commission <br />• Program of Work for the Police Chief <br /> <br />CHAIR'S REPORT ON MATTERS OF INTEREST TO THE COMMISSION <br /> <br />(CLOSED SESSION) <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />The commission anticipates meeting in executive session to consider charges against <br />officers or employees of the Hawaii Police Department where matters affecting privacy <br />will be involved, to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety, to work on the <br />Police Chief's annual evaluation, and may consult with Corporation Counsel on <br />questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, <br />immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawaii County <br />Charter Section 13-20 (b). <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS <br />• Complaint HPC 19-20: Complainant alleged that when officers responded to a call <br />to a big box store, an officer would not write-up her complaint, and another officer <br />assisted in the wrong -doing. <br />• Complaint HPC 19-22: Complainant alleged unnecessary roughness and sexual <br />harassment and assault by an officer. <br />• Complaint HPC 19-24: Complainant alleged that during a traffic stop, an officer was <br />rude and had a threatening attitude. <br />• Complaint HPC 19-25: Complainant alleged that an officer's police report did not <br />have complete information, and that he was rude to her. <br />• Review of complaints that may fall under the non -consideration rule of not having an <br />element of misconduct and not received within the 90 -day filing period. <br /> <br />STATUS REPORT OF REFERRED AND INTERNAL COMPLAINTS <br />WORK ON THE POLICE CHIEF'S ANNUAL EVALUATION <br />
