Dwight Vicente, representing the Hawaiian Kingdom, testified on Bill 87, Kona CDP <br />Amendments. Mr. Vicente testified on various bills and resolutions on the agenda, he stated <br />that the area within the Kona district was not ceded in 1898 and therefore not under County <br />jurisdiction. <br />2. Ken Melrose, representing himself, testified in support of Bill 87, Kona CDP Amendments. He <br />introduced himself as an active participant in the Kona CDP since its inception. He asked the <br />Council or their support in passing the second and final reading of the amendment package <br />stating it will allow them to more successfully implement the plan. <br />3. Shirley David, representing herself, testified in support of Bill 87, Kona CDP Amendments. Ms. <br />David introduced herself as the vice -chair of the Action Committee and a previous member of <br />the CDP Amendments Subcommittee.
