Update on changes to the 2-Bin Recycling Program. <br /> <br />SOLID WASTE DIVISION PROJECTS AND UPDATES <br /> <br />1. OPERATIONS <br /> <br />A. WEST HAWAI‘I SANITARY LANDFILL <br />• More hauling is being done from East Hawaiʻi to the WHSL. Workers are being <br />scheduled to facilitate this work. <br /> <br />B. SOUTH HILO SANITARY LANDFILL <br />• The contractor for the closure of the SHSL continued doing work around the <br />perimeter of the site. The contractor has also been performing slope <br />preparation work. <br /> <br />
