NACW conference next <br />week, Cyd will be attending. <br />IX. OLD BUSINESS <br />A. Teen Dating Violence <br />Subcommittee needs to meet and provide update next month. Kami is interested in <br />joining the subcommittee. <br />Action item: Farrah will add subcommittee composition on next month agenda <br />B. Real Women Essay Contest <br />• Update on article for 2019 event <br />No update from Lee -Ann. Kami and Mele will compose a draft of an arti- <br />cle and provide for review at the next meeting <br />• Update on partnering with KNKR 96.1 "Women's Voices" Radio Show to <br />showcase Essay Contest Winners <br />Radio stations are ready to go whenever we are. We need permission to <br />read essays on air. Brooke proposed to add requesting permission for <br />next year event. <br />Action item: Subcommittee and Brooke will work out the details and bring back at the <br />next meeting <br />C. Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum <br />No substantial report. Several members on leadership team will meet with Susan <br />Maddox of Friends of the Future to finalize budget figures so programming for <br />2019 and 2020 events can begin. <br />D. CSW Brochure <br />Committee reviewed most recent draft of the brochure. Andrew suggested to <br />modify "2019 members "to "2019-2020". Farrah asked to add a picture of distribu- <br />tion of Urgent services directory. Add electronic link or a QR code to the directory <br />to the brochure. <br />Action item: Mele will follow up with YWCA to ensure the brochure will be displayed on <br />their website. <br />E <br />
