G. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against <br />Women (CEDAW) <br />• Farrah sent a copy of the final bill signed by Mayor Caldwell to <br />Renee. No report back yet from Renee on CEDAW. <br />Action: Farrah will ask Renee Schoen for update on clarification on "non — <br />discriminatory policy <br />X. OLD BUSINESS <br />A. Calendar of Events <br />• Discussed events based on CSW conversations we've had. <br />• Farrah showed database of events in excel format. <br />• One billion rising link was shared by Farrah. <br />Action Item: Farrah will forward Calendar of Events draft to Lisa to send out to <br />CSW members. <br />B. By -Laws <br />• Confirmation that all CSW members received emailed copy of <br />bylaws. <br />• Additional edits may be desirable. <br />Action: Add review of bylaws to May 2016 meeting agenda. <br />C. Operational Guidelines <br />• Mele previously did revisions/draft which identifies CSW roles and <br />protocols. This document still needs to be reviewed. <br />Action Item: Poll CSW members for best day to attend meetings for future <br />meetings. <br />D. Support for CSW <br />• With the transition of Roxanne, CSW needs to identify future <br />support. <br />Core tasks to include facilitation and ongoing communication <br />between members for sake of compliance with sunshine law, <br />assist with posting of agenda, prepping of documents for <br />meetings (agenda, minutes, guest list, roll call, mileage forms), <br />update membership list as needed, create annual meetings list, <br />make reservations for meeting sites and assist with Hilo/Kona <br />video conference coordination, keep County Laser fiche site <br />updated, process mileage and meal reimbursements, process <br />procurement for CSW activities. CSW will keep drafting of the <br />agenda and taking minutes at the meetings. <br />5 <br />
