B. Proposed Projects for Next Year <br />• CSW members will continue to discuss budget to ensure that <br />enough funds are available to pursue projects for 2016-2017 <br />fiscal year. <br />• Deb and Jewel will remain on agenda to discuss updates on <br />project plan. <br />C. Real Women Essay Contest Sub -Committee <br />• A new Sub -Committee formed to include: Aunty Jessie, Farrah, <br />Tammy, and Lee -Ann. <br />• Committee will schedule a conference call sometime between <br />August 26th and September 13th to convene and discuss details of <br />2016-2017 project. <br />D. Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Forum <br />• Funding will be provided for registration of CSW members. Five <br />CSW members are confirmed as registered. Once payment is <br />logged and confirmation email sent to CSW members, forward <br />confirmation email to Farrah for reimbursement. Farrah will forward <br />confirmation emails to Lisa to process reimbursement to CSW <br />members. <br />E. CSW Brochure <br />• A motion was made by Mele and seconded by Jessie to purchase <br />paper for CSW brochure not to exceed $250, and not to exceed <br />600 printed copies. Motion approved. <br />Action: Farrah will follow up on details of CSW brochure. <br />F. Cell Phone Safety Cards <br />• Brooke handed out 75 cards at the NACW conference. <br />• Additional cards are available to CSW members. <br />• Cards will be included in the folders being made available to <br />attendees of the Women's Leadership Summit. <br />G. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against <br />Women (CEDAW) <br />• Farrah provided update that it continues to be worked on by <br />Councilwoman Poindexter's office. <br />H. Urgent Services Directory <br />• Brooke handed out 75 directories at the NACW conference. <br />• Lee -Ann reported 100 were given to Office of Housing and <br />Development and 50 were given to the Office of Aging. <br />• Directories will be included in the folders being made available to <br />attendees of the Women's Leadership Summit. <br />3 <br />
