So, 73,000. <br />5 <br />The 5.6 million dollars is what the County is <br />6 <br />currently obligated for all the other union employee <br />7 <br />raises for this year. So, just to be clear, the 5.6 is <br />8 <br />for everybody: Police, Fire, Public Works, HGEA -- <br />9 <br />that's the estimate. And the total for the 1.25 raise <br />10 <br />is $73,000 for the year -- <br />11 <br />CHAIR: If I can say something. <br />12 <br />MR. BRILHANTE: -- to make that clear. <br />13 <br />CHAIR: During our last meeting where we <br />14 <br />agreed as far as to push the ball this far with the <br />15 <br />1.25 percent -- and, Milton, you were not here, so I'll <br />16 <br />say those people that were present, those commissioners <br />17 <br />that were present, we agreed to get it to this point to <br />18 <br />do the report, what would be the most minimal <br />19 <br />cost-of-living-allowance raise, and it came to 1.25 <br />20 <br />percent. <br />21 <br />And, I think, for me -- and I'm only talking <br />22 <br />for my point of view -- is the collective bargaining <br />23 <br />units have representation and an advocate for <br />24 <br />themselves.
