You could end it by not moving <br />7 <br />it forward, but you're not approving it today. <br />8 <br />CHAIR: Or in 30 days. <br />9 <br />MR. PATEL: Right. <br />10 <br />MR. PAVAO: So, basically, it's a <br />11 <br />recommendation to the public? <br />12 <br />MR. PATEL: Yeah. Yeah, you could look at it <br />13 <br />that way. Definitely. It's saying, "Hey, this is what <br />14 <br />we're thinking. This is why we're thinking it. <br />15 <br />Provide us with your comments, and we're going to <br />16 <br />decide at some point in the future." <br />17 <br />MR. PAVAO: But I think what Florence said is <br />18 <br />really valid. The language should be changed to take <br />19 <br />away "cost of living" and just call it a 1.25 percent <br />20 <br />increase. <br />21 <br />MR. PATEL: Yeah. I think Florence was <br />22 <br />getting to its semantics, basically. <br />23 <br />MR. PAVAO: It is. <br />24 <br />MR.
