FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br />Parks and Recreation <br />Darrell Yamamoto: Recreation Specialist <br />799 Piilani St. <br />Hilo, HI. <br />961-8740/938-2012 <br />The Department of Parks and Recreation will be hosting its annual track and field meets <br />for youngsters 6 through 14 years of age. The schedule is as follows: <br />Age Group Track & Field meet <br />Dates: Saturday, February 8, 2020 <br />Sites: West Hawaii — Konawaena High School Track Oval <br />East Hawaii - Waiakea High School Ken Yamase Stadium <br />Exponent Track & Field meet <br />Dates: Saturday, February 22, 2020 <br />Sites: West Hawaii — Konawaena High School Track Oval <br />East Hawaii — Waiakea High School Ken Yamase Stadium <br />Time for both meets: <br />9:00 am — Start of field events <br />10:30 am — Approximate starting time for track events. Track & field <br />events will run simultaneously. <br />Schools, clubs or individuals interested in participating in any of the meets should <br />contact Darrell Yamamoto at 961-8735 or 938-2012. <br />Policy of Non-discrimination on the Basis of Disability <br />The County of Hawaii does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admissions <br />or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs or activities.
