Vision: The purposes of this multi -hazard <br />mitigation plan are twofold: <br />1. to protect people and structures from <br />harm and destruction; and <br />2. to minimize the costs and disruption of <br />disaster response and recovery. <br />Mission: This plan will focus on <br />mitigation, i.e., strategies to reduce risks. <br />Confirm Mission <br />Combine and only have a Mission <br />Statement: <br />Identify risks to life and property resulting <br />from hazards events to determine viable <br />actions that will reduce risk and create <br />resilient communities. <br />
