Each Foster Grandparent is required to render service of 5 hours per week or more. For additional <br />benefits and income guidelines, contact program office. <br /> <br />SERVICES OFFERED: Enrollees work under the supervision of a counselor or teacher and assist with a <br />variety of activities i.e. literacy, other academics needs and personal needs. Each FGP is given pre- <br />assignment training to prepare them to adjust to their service settings. Following the pre-assignment <br />training, each new Foster Grandparent must have a physical examination with a doctor of their choice, also <br />the fingerprinting has to be done before the training, these at the expense of the Foster Grandparent <br />Program (FGP).
