So, there were members of -- <br />7 <br />the selectee was from outside the jurisdiction. So, I <br />8 <br />don't think we're arguing an internal recruitment <br />9 <br />situation where they're all, you know, civil -- they're <br />10 <br />not all civil service employees that applied. And <br />11 <br />these are not the only applicants to the position from <br />12 <br />the Office of the Prosecutor. There were also others <br />13 <br />who are not here today. <br />14 <br />So, there are a lot of things, I think, the <br />15 <br />Board needs to look at in this case; and that's why <br />16 <br />we're before you. <br />17 <br />MR. MUKAI: If I may briefly respond. For <br />18 <br />one thing, the selectee was not a member -- was not <br />19 <br />from outside the jurisdiction. <br />20 <br />Number two -- <br />21 <br />MR. HALVORSON: Where was the selectee from? <br />22 <br />MR. ROTH: University of Hawai ʻ i at Hilo. <br />23 <br />MR.
