TAM: Thank you. <br />5 <br />MR. BRILHANTE: And then, so the final area I wanted <br />6 <br />to just discuss under the overall departmental updates is we <br />7 <br />recently, this past Monday, we conducted the County Employees <br />8 <br />Recognition Awards Program. It was Monday and it was at the <br />9 <br />newly constructed and beautiful Hilo Municipal Golf Course <br />10 <br />multi-purpose room. If any of you guys have the opportunity <br />11 <br />to go up there, I would highly recommend it. It's a <br />12 <br />beautiful environment. <br />13 <br />There were nineteen nominees -- County employee <br />14 <br />nominees in three categories. Manager of the year was <br />15 <br />Mr. Joaquin Gamiao-Kunkel, and he's from the Planning <br />16 <br />Department. Supervisor of the year was Mr. Kevin Hashizaki <br />17 <br />from the Prosecutors Office. And employee of the year was <br />18 <br />Glennen Erece from the Finance Department. <br />19 <br />All the nominees got a $50 gift certificate or <br />20 <br />cash award, plus, which I would really appreciate, is eight <br />21 <br />hours of administrative leave. And then the winners were <br />22 <br />awarded $250 and as well as a beautiful koa box with the <br />23 <br />County seal on it. <br />24 <br />So, that's it for my quarterly report.
