Keith-Agaran, Vice Chair <br /> Committee on Water and Land <br /> Hawaii State Legislature <br /> Dear Chair Chang and Kahele, Vice-Chair Kanuha and Keith-Agaran, and Committee members: <br /> RE: SB 3113 Relating to Housing <br /> There is no question that affordable rental housing is needed throughout Hawaii <br /> County, and SB 3113 identifies an opportunity in Honokaa, Hawaii where a 15 acre <br /> parcel is already under government control and could well be suitable for such a project. <br /> My understanding is that exact title to the land is in question but should be easily <br /> sorted out, so I defer to the Hawaii Public Housing Authority and HHFDC to help this <br /> Committee amend this bill as appropriate.
