This is a Civil Defense message. <br />This is a Coronavirus informational update for Saturday, February 8t" at 9 in the morning. <br />In an effort to contain the virus, the U.S. State Department has issued a Level 4 Travel Advisory to U.S. <br />Citizens for travel to China. This Level 4 Travel Advisory means do not travel to China. <br />At this time, the Hawaii State Department of Health has NOT issued an advisory to the general public and <br />confirms that there are NO cases of the coronavirus in Hawaii. <br />The County of Hawaii and the State Department of Health are working closely together to keep you safe, <br />healthy, and informed and encourage you to take preventive measures to reduce risk by doing the following; <br />• Wash your hands often and with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. <br />• Cover your cough and sneeze with a tissue and wash your hands after with soap and water. <br />• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. <br />• And, avoid close contact with people who are sick. <br />If you need additional information on the coronavirus, please call: <br />• Department of Health at 974-6001; <br />• Or, Department of Health after-hours at 211 <br />Thank you for listening. <br />This is your Hawai'i County Civil Defense Agency. <br />
