This is a Civil Defense message. <br />This is a Coronavirus informational update for Monday, February 10th at 9 in the <br />morning. <br />The County of Hawaii and the Department of Health are working closely together <br />to provide you timely and accurate information on the coronavirus. <br />To prevent and mitigate the spread of the virus, U.S federal and state officials, the <br />Department of Health, and the Department of Transportation have in place the <br />following measures; <br />• The U.S. State Department Level 4 Travel Advisory to U.S. Citizens for travel to <br />China remains in effect. This Level 4 Travel Advisory means do not travel to <br />China. <br />• State Health and State Transportation officials together with the Centers for <br />Disease Control and Prevention continue to monitor and screen inbound <br />passengers at Honolulu International Airport for any individuals that may have <br />been affected by the virus. <br />• And, the Department of Health continues to coordinate with healthcare <br />facilities to ensure hospitals and healthcare providers are up to date on <br />infection control, in the event a person with the virus is identified. <br />At this time, the Department of Health has NOT issued an advisory to the general <br />public and reports that there are NO cases of the coronavirus in Hawaii. <br />If you need additional information on the coronavirus, please call: <br />• Department of Health at 974-6001; <br />• Or, Department of Health after-hours at 211 <br />Thank you for listening. <br />This is your Hawai'i County Civil Defense Agency. <br />
