Natural Hazards <br /> 1. Drainage <br /> The Federal Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) identifies the <br /> Site to be within Zone VE — Coastal flood with velocity hazard <br /> (wave action) with the base elevation determined. <br /> In the event improvements are contemplated, the appropriate <br /> SMA and related permits will be secured. <br /> The existing improvements already includes approved drywells <br /> to address the added level of impervious surface resulting from <br /> the improvements and its parking area. With the existing on-site <br /> drainage improvements, all potential drainage and/or flooding <br /> issues have already been reasonably addressed and mitigated. <br /> 2. Tsunami Hazard <br /> The site is within the Civil Defense's Tsunami Evacuation Zone. <br /> Appropriate signage and related internal warning system will be <br /> provided to guests and employees of the site, like other <br /> establishments within the evacuation zone. Thus, with the Civil <br /> Defense warning system plus the internal protocols, reasonable <br /> measures for protection will be in place. <br /> 3. Volcanic and Earthquake Hazards <br /> According to the United States Geological Survey maps, the <br /> project site is located within Lava Flow Hazard Zone 3, on a <br /> scale of ascending risks 9 to 1 .
