Incident: Coronavirus Update Message <br /> This is a Civil Defense message. <br /> This is a Coronavirus informational update for Monday, February 24 at 9:00 in the morning. <br /> The following is a Department of Health Update: <br /> • The Department of Health confirms that there are NO cases of Coronavirus reported in the State of <br /> Hawaii. <br /> • The Department of Health has no Health Advisories for the State of Hawaii at this time. <br /> The following National travel policies are in effect: <br /> • For travel to Japan and South Korea, the U.S. State Department and the Centers for Disease Control <br /> and Prevention have issued travel advisories for you to exercise increased caution when traveling to <br /> these countries, where the risk for exposure to respiratory illnesses is high. <br /> • The U.S. State Department Travel Advisory continues for U.S. Citizens prohibiting travel to China. <br /> • Quarantine policies for U.S. citizens returning to the U.S. from China remain. <br /> AS A REMINDER: <br /> If you feel sick with fever, cough, or difficulty breathing: <br /> • Call your doctor or medical provider, inform them of your symptoms and if you have traveled to areas <br /> affected by Coronavirus. <br /> • Avoid contact with others. <br /> • Do not travel while sick. <br /> • Take extra measures to keep your hands clean. <br /> • Practice cough and sneeze etiquette (maintain distance, cover coughs and sneezes). <br /> Additionally, your help is needed to prevent rumors about Coronavirus. Make sure your information is up-to- <br /> date and comes from a credible source.
