Conduct a BPA (Business Process Analysis) to identify and <br />document all <br />elements necessary to perform essential functions. The BPA must: <br />a. Identify and map the functional processes, workflows, activities, <br />resources, personnel expertise, supplies, equipment, <br />infrastructure, systems, data, and alternate locations inherent to <br />the execution of each essential function; and, ... <br />What are some best practices for contingency plans? <br />➢ Rancho California Water District Water Shortage Contingency Plan: <br />In summary, a section of this plan contains criteria for five water shortage stages <br />and they are as follows:. <br />• Stage 1 —Water Supply Watch Criteria:... customers are requested to <br />continue to use water efficiently, maximize recycled water use, and <br />practice sensible voluntary water conservation... <br />• Stage 2 — Water Supply Alert Criteria: There is a probability that the <br />district may not be able to meet all of the water demands of its customers. <br />... Imported water supply shortages are expected. Additional voluntary <br />use reduction measures will be called upon during this stage. Some <br />nonessential outdoor water -use restrictions in the residential, commercial, <br />and agricultural sectors may be implemented <br />• Stage 3 — Water Supply Warning Criteria: Water supply shortages (local <br />or imported) for the District are expected to continue and possibly worsen, <br />or the District is mandated by a state or federal regulatory agency with <br />jurisdiction over the District to reduce water use.... Some restrictions on <br />certain non-essential outdoor residential, commercial, agricultural, and <br />landscape water use will be implemented. ...
