<br />Mayor’s PSA for Friday, March 27, 2020 at 7:15 a.m. <br />This is a civil defense message. <br />th <br />This is a coronavirus information update for Friday morning March 27 at 7:15. <br />Be reminded that the State’s Proclamation of “Stay at Home” and all incoming travelers <br />to Hawaii State remains in effect. Please call Civil Defense at 935-0031 for additional <br />information. <br />On the coronavirus update, the number of active cases for Hawaii Island, on this day is <br />4. Active cases are those confirmed having the virus. These 4 are quarantined at <br />home and are being monitored by the Department of Health. At this date for Hawaii <br />Island, no one has infected by the virus had to be hospitalized. <br />Your county government continues to aggressively address programs of prevention and <br />provide credible and timely information. An updated coronavirus flyer is now being <br />circulated. The task force of cleansing is out seven days a week, disinfecting parks, <br />bus stops, sidewalks, and town centers will continue as long as necessary to combat <br />the spread of the coronavirus. <br />An acknowledgement and huge thank you, to all the merchants to keep your customers <br />safe. <br />To all please practice always, measures of prevention and above all keep yourself <br />physically and emotionally healthy.
