This is a Civil Defense message. <br /> This is a Coronavirus informational update for Saturday morning, March 28 at 7:30. <br /> On the coronavirus update: <br /> The number of active cases for Hawaii Island on this day and time is 5. These 5 <br /> individuals are quarantined at home and are being monitored by the Department of <br /> Health. At this date for Hawaii Island, no one infected by the virus had to be <br /> hospitalized. <br /> Your county government Task Force on Prevention continues to disinfect areas around <br /> the Island; concentrating on public rest rooms, sidewalks, bus stops, and parks. This <br /> will continue 7-days a week, as long as necessary, to combat the spread of the COVID- <br /> 19 virus. An updated information flyer is now being circulated. <br /> THIS is a community issue and your help is needed to help prevent the spread of this <br /> virus. Do your part, get informed, and protect yourself and the community. <br /> We can all help stop the spread of this virus in our community by good etiquette on <br /> coughing and sneezing, keeping areas clean and sanitized, and as hard as it is for <br /> Hawaii's culture, no handshakes, no hugs, no knuckle-to-knuckle. Just say "Hi" for now. <br /> Your help is needed and can make a difference.
