<br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />th <br />This is a Coronavirus informational update for Saturday morning, April 4. <br />On the COVID-19 status, the total number of people tested positive for Hawaii Island is 25. Of this, 15 <br />have recovered. The remaining 10 are quarantined at their homes and are being monitored by the <br />Department of Health. At this date, for Hawaii Island, no one infected by the virus had to be <br />hospitalized. <br />Be reminded that drive-through screening and testing will be conducted in Hilo at the Ho’olulu Complex <br />th <br />on Sunday, April 5, from 8 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. For Kona, Mondays and Thursdays at <br />the Keauhou Shopping Center. Kona is to be commended for their tremendous turnout. <br />To keep Hawaii safe your help is needed. Do your part to prevent the spread of this disease. We expect <br />all those who take care of us to always be there. Do your part by following the policies of stay at home, <br />social distancing, gatherings and traveling. As difficult as it is for Hawaii’s culture, no handshakes, no <br />hugs, no knuckle-to-knuckle, just say “Hi.” Let’s all work together to make it better. <br />Thank you very much for listening.
