<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: April 10, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE Time: 9:00 AM <br /> Radio Frequency: Each Hour <br /> Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />th <br />This is a Coronavirus informational update for Friday morning, April 10. <br />On the COVID-19 status, the total number of people tested positive for Hawaii Island is <br />29. From this, 22 have been cleared as recovered by the Department of Health. The <br />remaining 7 are quarantined at home and being carefully monitored by your Department <br />of Health. At this date, for Hawaii Island, no one tested positive had to be hospitalized. <br />th <br />As a reminder, COIV-19 Drive-through Testing will be conducted tomorrow April 11 at <br />Hilo Civic Center. Hours are from 8 in the morning till 3 o’clock in the afternoon. You <br />are asked to bring a picture I.D. and your own pen. Thank you, Premier Medical Group <br />and Bay Clinic for doing this. Know that early testing means early detection, early <br />treatment, protection love ones, and our community. <br />A huge Mahalo Nui Loa to Hawaii Island Food Basket and all their volunteers and <br />contributors for their program of food drop. <br />Remember to stay socially connected to our Kupuna.
