May 6, 2019 <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />This is a High Surf Advisory message for Wednesday, April 15 <br />The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory for west facing shores of Hawaii <br />Island from Mahukona in North Kohala to South Point in Kau effective at midnight tonight <br />through Thursday evening. <br />A High Surf Advisory means surf will be higher than normal, shore break, and dangerous <br />currents could cause injury or death. <br />Thank you for your attention. <br />This is your Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency. <br />
