CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: April 17, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />Fri T13 EVITIFTAIN <br />Radio Frequency: Each Hour <br />Update #: 1 <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Friday morning, April 17th <br />On today's report of COVID-19, the total number of people who tested positive for <br />Hawaii Island remains at 42. From this, 29 have been cleared as recovered and the <br />remaining 13 are quarantined at home and monitored by the Department of Health. <br />This increase of two, from yesterday, stems from the fast food establishment cluster. <br />This so clearly demonstrates how important it is to follow the health advisories of: if sick, <br />stay home and seek medical advice; sneezing and coughing etiquette; physical <br />distancing; gatherings; your good health and other advisories. <br />To keep Hawaii safe, your help is needed.
