<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: April 26, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE Time: 8:30 AM <br /> Radio Frequency: Each Hour <br /> Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Sunday morning, April 26th. <br />On today’s report of COVID-19, the total number of people who tested positive for <br />Hawaii Island is 68. From this, 47 have been cleared as recovered with the remaining <br />21 quarantined at home and monitored by the Department of Health. The one adult <br />male hospitalized has been released from Kona Hospital and quarantined at home, very <br />good news. <br />For your information, drive through testing will be conducted today in Hilo at the Hilo <br />Civic Center parking lot from 9 this morning till 1 this afternoon. Thank you, Premier <br />Medical Group, Bay Clinic, Hawaii Army National Guard, and the Hawaii County Task <br />Force for conducting this free service. A drive through testing will be held in Kona at the <br />th <br />Keauhou Shopping Center tomorrow, Monday, April 27. <br />A very grateful thank you to the banks and credit unions for working long hours and so <br />hard, seven days a week, helping Hawaii Small businesses preparing the multitude of <br />applications, be ready for submission by the crack of dawn tomorrow, when applications <br />will be accepted. <br />Thank you, people of Hawaii for who you are, Community together, helping each other <br />during a very difficult time.
