CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: April 30, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE <br />Radio Frequency: Each Hour <br />Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Thursday morning, April 30th. <br />On today's report of COVID-19, the total number of people who tested positive for <br />Hawaii Island is 72. From this, 53 have been cleared as recovered with the remaining <br />19 quarantined at home and monitored by the Department of Health. At this date, no <br />one is hospitalized. <br />For your information, drive through testing will be conducted today in Kona at the <br />Keauhou Shopping Center. Hours are from 8 this morning till 12 noon. Thank you, Ali'i <br />Health Center, Hawaii National Guard, and County Task Force for conducting this free <br />service. Testing will be conducted in Honoka'a tomorrow, at the Honoka'a Sports <br />Complex. <br />Know that all the policies of distancing, gatherings, face coverings, cleanliness, and <br />personal health remains in effect. Your help is needed to keep Hawaii safe. This Island <br />and State is doing well in minimizing the spread and impact of the coronavirus.
