<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: May 10, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE Time: 9:30 AM <br /> Radio Frequency: Each Hour <br /> Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />th <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Sunday morning, Mother’s Day, May 10. <br />On today’s report of COVID-19, the total number of people tested positive for Hawaii <br />Island is 75. From this, 74 have been cleared as recovered with the remaining 1 being <br />quarantined at home and monitored by the Department of Health. At this date, for <br />Hawaii Island, no one is hospitalized. <br />These are very good numbers for Hawaii Island and Hawaii State, so much gratitude to <br />the health care family for their guidance, hard work, and care. So proud of Hawaii <br />State, being the number 1 in the nation of testing per capita, so proud of Hawaii being in <br />the top two states of having the lowest active cases identified. <br />This reinforces the importance of following the policies of face covering, distancing, <br />gatherings, cleanliness, and keeping yourself physical and emotionally healthy.
