Incident: Coronavirus Update <br /> This is a Civil Defense message. <br /> This is a COVID-19 informational update for Monday morning, May 11th <br /> On today's report of COVID-19, the total number of people tested positive for Hawaii <br /> Island is 75. From this, 74 have been cleared as recovered, with the remaining 1 being <br /> quarantined at home and monitored by the Department of Health. At this date, for <br /> Hawaii Island, no one is hospitalized. <br /> These are very good numbers for Hawaii Island and Hawaii State. So much gratitude to <br /> the health care family for their guidance, hard work, and care. So proud of Hawaii State <br /> being the number 1 in the nation of testing per capita and in the top three States of <br /> having the lowest active cases identified. <br /> These numbers reinforce the importance of following the policies of prevention. We <br /> need to continue, and get better to keep Hawaii Safe, and stop this virus from affecting <br /> the beautiful lifestyle of Hawaii. <br /> For your information, drive-thru testing will be conducted in Hilo today at the Civic <br /> Center. Hours are from 9 this morning till 1 this afternoon. Testing also in South Kona <br /> at the Keauhou shopping center. Hours are from 8 this morning till 12 noon. Thank you <br /> Premier Medical and Alii Health for doing this free service. <br /> A food drop off will be held today in Ka'u at Kahuku Park in Hawaiian Ocean View. <br /> Hours are from 10 this morning till 12 noon.
